I'm a sucker for magazines. I buy loads of them; Cosmopolitan, Glamour, New!, More! Etc, however, if I am out shopping or travelling then I will load up with extra magazines. One of my most recent buys is a magazine called Bella. Bella is a British weekly women's magazine. The magazine is issued every Tuesday and is currently ... Read the complete review

I love to read magazines but I try not to buy them too often because they usually cost a couple of pound and only give you an hour or so of reading time. I hate to waste money on magazines but if I do buy them then I will usually buy Closer or OK (very rarely OK because that is an expensive magazine). One magazine that I never buy but ... I can't say I'm a fan of women's magazines because they're all the same to me; celebrities, thinness, thin celebrities, diets, fashion...and a little more on how to look thin just incase you weren't already fed up of reading about dieting! To my knowledge, Bella comes out every Tuesday and is priced at 85p. I remember years ... Read the complete review

I have scanned the internet looking for Bella magazine to find out why Rita Rogers is no longer writing for you? I've been buying Bella for years and the main reason I buy it is to read the sensitively written and heartwarming articles written by Rita Rogers. She seems to bring meaning and comfort, not only to the bereaved whom she ... Read the complete review

I have read Bella for a number of years and always enjoyed it's contents. This week on picking up Issue 12 I was horrified to find a change of format. No Kevin Cotton, no Rita Rogers and no fiction page. Masses of fashion and beauty, boring real life stories and pages of bits and bobs. I am a young 76 year old and keep up ... If you buy Womans magazines for the competitions then this is not the magazine for you. If, like me you want it for a good read and good various items then with Bella you will get just that. Although I would hate to have had the real life stories happen to me, they are not so outragous and unbelievable that you think ... Read the complete review

Bella is a womans magazine that is bought more for whats written between the covers than for doing the competitions in it and winning prizes and because it is still going strong and only bought for one thing then you know it must be pretty good. It comes out weekly costing 64p. Weekly it has 5 or 6 Real Life Stories. ... Read the complete review

Bella is a quick read. No heavy stuff. Some good advice, some fun fiction and some interesting articles. It does not do bad taste 'dirt raking' articles like some of the 'less than a pound' weeklies and it accommodates a wide audience. Great of you have a family, lots of ideas for kids (not that I have any. Recipes are more ... Read the complete review

I have read Bella every week for the last twelve years. Although it is not as glossy as many of its competitors' publications, I think the content is relatively interesting. It is not as devoted to unaffordable fashion and has fewer adverts than many similar magazines. The health pages occasionally provide useful information, ... Read the complete review

Has anyone else noticed that Bella always seems to have "Lose a stone in 4 weeks" or "Drop a dress size in 4 weeks" on the front cover? I must admit that this is the main reason for my buying Bella, trying to find the secret plan to weight loss! Most of the diet plans and recipes take time and effort to prepare! The ... I have to say I am not a big fan of this magazine, it seems to be full of completely useless information about other people's life's. I "read" it occasionally when it appears on desks at work - certainly wouldnt been seen dead buying it. I just think it contains nothing useful what more can I say. I like all ...
