The Big Issue is a special magazine to me. In terms of content, it can often be better than a typical current affairs magazine. Being interested in crime and disorder, I remember reading one edition that threw a whole new light on the prison system and its ills.

I am surprised by my own opinions of the big issue as I often conflict with sellers in the line of my work, asking them to move away from the doors of the shopping centre where i am a Security Officer, but one seller in particular knows that once lunchtime comes on a thursday, i'll be visiting him, not to move him on, but to buy a copy.

There is nothing particular about the Big Issue that stands out fromn the rest. The whole magazine is put together so professionally and contains so much information, whilst raising money for a good cause that for a mere £1 it's an absolute bargain!

So buy a "BIG ISSUE- ONLY A POUND!... HELP THE HOMELESS HELP THEMSELVES!
