Advantages: Great Detail, Great reviews, Great Information
Disadvantages: None really
This magazine has to be the dog's b******. I found myself subscribing to this magazine earlier this year and have not been unhappy with the contents yet! Bike magazine contains lots of features and articles about up and coming bikes as well as the old the ugly, and the damn right awful. but it si not just the contents it has to be down to the context as well. Each of their reviews is well-written and obviously well though out not only with the text used, but in the extremes of testing the bikes. The reviews that really stand out are those where bikes within the same catorgories are pitted up against each other in a non-biased way. The best-of-the-best really are shown and are deeply explained in why they excel over the others. What's also nice about this magazine is that there are just a right amount of adverts, you simply have a great detail to appreciate but are no means annoying, like those huge PC mags. Sport and news also appears to be high n the list of priority within this magazine. With reviews of certain rounds ranging from the Isle of Man to the Grand Prix, not to mention the Superbikes. Including these reviews are interviews with stars of the motorcycle sports. Like in all motoring magazines details of the vechicles can be found at the back of the magazine, with new prices and info as well as past-masters and their estimated prices of today. Included in these pages are reviews from older second-hand bikes such as the fantastic Honda NSR250 reviewed in this months issue. This helps the buyer put another mind to their queries. All-though second-hand bikes are not sold in this magazine nor new ones for that matter. A great range of accessories are tested and advertised in this magazine every month. These can reange from reviews of gloves to sliders to special exhaust kits. Even reviews of motorcycle games for the playstation. This has to be one of the best biking magazines around and worth a subsc
ription too as it caters all round for the boy-racer on his GSXR1000 to the sit-up-and-beg guys on their tourers (no offense!) Worth a look buy all means.
