Advantages: it's weird, unusual photos

Disadvantages: quality does vary month to month

I've bought this magazine on an off since it's launch in March 1997. Bizzare deals with many occult and taboo subjects with a good selection of unusual photos.

In many ways it's like a magazine version of Rotten.com,a good selection of strange photos of death, dismemberment, accidents etc. They try to keep the reader coming back by offering them ever more weird images / stories.

It's quite a good read, the photos are not nice but they're the sort of thing that you just have to take a look at. The downside to this is that for a monthly mag (used to be bi monthly) they often struggle to fill it with worthwhile articles, hence the quality does vary month to month.
