Advantages: Lots of tips if you have kids, plus great make-up and hair product ideas

This is one of my favourite magazines that I really enjoy reading from the front cover to the back page. This Boots health & beauty mag is so full of interesting facts and tips that you learn lots of new things that you didn't know before. It is free to Advantage Card Holders ( to become a card holder
just pick up one of their leaflets and fill in your details, you will get a temporary card until your one is sent out to you) which I would strongly recommend anyone to join, or you can purchase it for £1 if you are not.

This is ia 100 page glossy mag which like other mags does have a lot of
advertisments in it, but this is slightly different because if Boots are doing
it on special at that time it will tell you at the bottom of the advertisment!

On the contents page it is clearly set out to find what you might be looking for:

Whats New~~~~~
This keeps you informed of any new products or offers, as an example if you manage to save 3,600 points ( I never would be able too!!!) you can get a
pair of fitflops (the shoes with the wobbly base that helps your muscles tone up) with them. I'll have to just pay for mine!

Feel Good~~~~~
This is interesting as on some pages it has 4 readers that tell you about something that changed in their lives. Plus on the other pages it has a great guide for going on holiday, with a guide of health and body items that you should make sure you take with you. It caters for holidays in this country, Adventure breaks and Weekends away.

Expert~~~~~
These pages are full of Q & A with some of the answers being very informative, for example I didn't realise that suntan lotion has a sell buy date on it. It should have a 12M symbol near the barcode which means it will
keep for 1 year from when you have opened it.

Beauty~~~~~
This covers make-up like waterproof mascara's with a selection of 6 diferent
ones to choose from. Hair treatments to stop the frizz from the sun and beauty secrets from a celeb, this month being Andie MacDowell who share
tips and make-up ideas.

Health~~~~~
A guide to vitamins , a quiz to find out your fitness personality and great treatments for lovely soft feet ( which you need if wearing sandals,flipflops
ect!! I must read that section!!)

Family~~~~~
Great if you have kids as it covers school holiday ideas and swimwear for little ones. I didn't realise that you can buy little sunsafe suits that have
built-in Ultraviolet Protection Factor that helps to stop the sun getting through ( how clever is that!). Plus little hats as well.

Your Advantage Card~~~~~
News of what is on offer to get with your card that month. If you call the customer care no. 0845 124 454 you can have your name added to the NHS
Organ Donor Register, where they will send you a new card with your details on for both the Advantage points and Organ Donor Register.

In every issue at the back of the mag is a full page of coupons where you
get extra points if you buy certain goods, plus some money off vouchers as well.

This is a great mag to browse through when looking for ideas for new make-up or hair products to buy. I also like the way that the page numbers are very clear on the bottom of the page, so you can find what page you want quickly. I love Boots as their points soon mount up especially at Christmas when they do 3 for 2 gifts and double points, which they have on some weekends and late night shopping. I usually go and treat myself after Xmas with all my points I have earnt over the last few weeks!!!

Summary: A great mag especially if you are a card holder and you get it FREE!!
