Ok lets get things into perspective here. If you want a gay newspaper, you will get hold of a copy of The Pink Paper. If you want a porn magazine, well you might consider this as its free, and you don't feel so much of a perv flick through its pages. However I would say that I use it more as a scene guide than anything else. If I make a return visit to my Brighton home town, I look for an up-to-date copy of Boyz to find out what is going on. And I would say that with out doubt it is this comprehensive listing, and weekly update that makes the magazine useful if not essential for travellers. All I have to say is 'Flash the Flesh'. i could just leave it there but between you and me, that would be quite boring. I wouldn't say that this was a gratuitous look at Gay U.k because that would make it sound like a bad thing. Unlike its more recent glossy counterparts, this isn't really one for the thinking person. Usually only available in shops in the main cities it isn't the most inconspicuous of magazines to buy. It is given away at most gay clubs though, so when somethings free you musn't grumble that much.
