The book has everything you need to know about weddings,for example all about the marrige law,all types off wedding,as we all know we all like types off weddings. Wedding and Home ... I first got engaged, just under a year ago, I went on a mad shopping spree buying every wedding magazine I could lay my hands on! This went on for a couple of months until I realised that all the magazines are practically the same and I didn't need to buy anymore. Wedding and Home is one of the more established Bridal publications; the issue I bought cost £3.90 and I do feel that was a tad on the pricey side. Ok the magazine is thick, over 300 pages, however the old saying 'Quality NOT Quantity springs to mind: there are a lot of adverts. Wedding Day ... we first decided to get married (about 2 weeks after we met - no joke!), we were completely unaware of the maze of decisions facing us. Not being religious, a civil wedding was the more sensible option. Unfortunately, we currently live in a not-so-nice part of London and the local registry office leaves a lot to be desired - complete with bus stop by the door (perfect for photographs - not!). Browsing through the various wedding magazines did not help much either until I came across Wedding Day. In my opinion it is the only wedding magazine to offer real advice for real brides.
