Business 2.0

Business2.0 is the latest magazine from the Future Publishing stable of titles - publishers of many of the top computing and leisure titles in the UK. Business2.0 is aimed at those looking to do business in the new economy - be it e-commerce, m-commerce etc. This is a title which fills a huge void - no other title in the UK comes close. Well, Im a PC format subscriber, and i was called by Future Publishing and asked if I would like a years subscription to Business 2.0 for five quid for the year. After being a bit suss about the erm... well lets say it seemed a little cheap... I said OK, and Im really glad I did. The articles are always topical, relevant and provide a rich source of information, links, and opinion on todays topics. I certainly recommend the magazine for any one interested in e-commerce, or m-commerce. I need to read the magazines for articles relevent to my area of research (m-commerce and wireless security). I first picked up this magazine in the US whilst over there on holiday, and I made a habit of swiping it from airport lounges when I went over to visit friends, but late last year Business 2.0 made it across to these shores. The first UK issue used a lot of the US content which made good read for those wanting to keep up to date with dot developments, as you may or may not be aware that things in IT always happen in the US 6 months to 1 year before they happen here, so you felt you almost had insider information. I recieved a free trial issue of Business 2.0 through the post a while back and i have to say i am not so impressed with it! I know that it is only a quid but that isn't the point. In a business magazine you want quality items and articles. Some of the stuff in the first two issues of the magazine was so bad i didn't bother reading it! I can safely say this is one of future publishings not so good mags! Although i highly rate future as the UK's best publisher!
