LoolooMe The Financial Times: ... is it? Broad Sheet news paper giving news with an economic focus. The FT is not for everyone. It is not for a paper down the local, or one that you can hear some of the lighter news. It is however, the best printed paper out there. The reason for this last someone out there statement is because FT brings the news that really matter and displays very raw news if you can read between the lines. Now not wanting...

stuff10 Making Money Magazine
... Money is a magazine that aims to do what the title say - make you some cash! I picked up a copy when boarding a flight from Gatwick recently, they were giving them out for free so I thought it could be a useful read and help pass the journey. It s a glossy magazine and is relatively thick at 115 pages, retailing for £2.99. The style of the magazine is very formal, which is understandable as it s aimed at business people looking to invest their money. I was disappointed at the amount of stock imagery used in the articles though, they stood out off the page, and for me undermined the articles somewhat! Most of the articles in the magazine are simply adverts for fra...

Trishajs Moneywise
... got my first copy of Moneywise free of charge as part of a promotion they were doing in conjunction with the Moneysavingexpert site, this offer is often repeated so it would be worth checking. The magazine is packed with information on how, as the magazine title suggests, to be wise with your money. It has information on consumer law as well. Of course it also contains the best buys at the time of going to press- but as they change so often these days- you would still need to do the work on checking rates. It is well worth getting as a one off if you have money to invest and I very much enjoyed reading the whole mag - or most of it. But if I was being wise with my mone...

JenGold The Economist
... Economist goes way beyond just economics, take it from someone who is barely passed Econ 110, this is not an academic journal on macro trends. That being said, its not a dumbed down version of anything either! The Economist is a weekly (cones out Friday) news magazine that covers your basic international relations, economics, current events, and political issues. Although they do have sections for the whole world, there is a bias towards UK/US/European issues. There are also sections about books, science, occasional obituaries and other random but interesting things towards the back of the magazine. The political columnists are particularly interesting, each one takes...
