Advantages: All your favourites from CBeebies and a toy too!

Disadvantages: Quite cheaply put together and cheap toy too

We really love this magazine! Our daughter (3 years old) started getting this magazine on and off when we were shopping etc from around the time she turned 2. We then decided that as we were buying it regularly anyway we would just have it ordered to be delivered from our local newsagents. So every wednesday morning there is now great excitement as she rushes downstairs for her magazine!

The magazine is basically a standard sort of format each week but this is great for young children as they become familiar with what to expect each time. It's quite a reasonable size really and most pages have activities for your little one to do. Each week there is also a large sheet of stickers and many of these can be used through out the magazine to stick into scenes, etc. The rest of the stickers can be used on the weekly reward chart which is found on the inside of the front cover.

The magazine is fairly cheaply put together and doesn't usually contain anything particularly new - usually standard promo pictures of Cbeebies presenters and characters from various shows put into different scenes to make a little story or activity for your child. It is quite well done though and they they vary the charaters used quite a lot so you'll get a few people from things that are currently being shown but they also include some older popular favourites too.

The best thing, from my daughters point of view, is probably the fact that the magazine always has a toy attached to the front! Now these are generally quite cheap toys that don't last more than a few days but they do really appeal to young children! Past toys have included - toy cameras, scribble pad, wind up cars, magnetic fishing, crayons, etc.

Over all it is a really good magazine and far better than most others. From an adult point of view it seems a bit cheaply together with a very cheap toy on the front but to a child it's brilliant - full of all their favourite Cbeebies characters and presenters, lots of things to do, stickers and a brand new toy! The magazine is £1.99 which seems a lot but I would actually say it's quite good value given that it keeps my daughter entertained for so long!!

Summary: Brilliant magazine for toddlers+
