Advantages: a lot to read and something for everyone

Disadvantages: none

Every Thursday Chat magazine appears on the newsagents shelves. It costs 78p and has around 77 pages.

The first thing you will notice is a bright front page telling you what is in this weeks issue mostly real life stories.

Open up to the next page, dont worry I am not going to do this page by page, and it tells you exactly what is in the magazine under five headings. Cover Stories, more true stories, 18 prize puzzles, your favourites and Bit on the side.

Also on this page is Chat to us where you get paid £25 for pictures used and a short message from Gilly Sinclair who is the Editor.

The puzzles of which there are 18 usually are spred throughout the magazine not like some altogether in a couple pages. Each puzzle is different and it tells you what the prize is and how many.

Your favourites is things like fashion, stars, whats on the telly, agony aunt, where to go for holidays, what kids say and health problems.

To me some of the best favourites are ooo Spooky. As you may have guessed it is spooky photos and stories. Ruth the truth is a psychic agony aunt who apparently looks at her cards to find the answer to your problems although I must admit that this could just be added to the Agony Aunt page!

If you are wanting some tips on anything go to Blimey thats clever as they have tips on just about any subject.

A very small column which I think should be given a full page is called the Worlds weirdest laws. I really love reading these as some are great. This week there is a Look out! women cant drive a car in Memphis unless a man walks in front of it waving a red flag. This dates right back in time of course and the law has not been changed!

At the back of the magazine you have an entry form to fill out to send off all the competitions in one envelope. You can also telephone them in, text them in or even go on the internet to enter them.

You also have an answers page from previous magazines and the winners name and where they live. One thing you will see different here from other magazines is that they just give the initial and then the surname omitting out Mr, Mrs or Miss.

I have noticed in recent months that there are fewer advertisements in the magazines at the moment and therefore I think more room for the stories and things to read.

For 78p you cannot go wrong in buying this magazine and there really is a lot to read and not just about celebs and diets which I find a lot of the magazines seem to fill the pages with nowadays.

I definately think that if you have not bought this magazine for a while go and buy a copy as you wont be disappointed and hey you never know you might even win one of their prizes.

Thank you for reading this.

Summary: For 78p you get a lot of reading whether you like true life stories or peoples problems
