I was in my staff room today and felt I needed some time out from school kids and gossip with other staff. I noticed a pile of magazines and decided to read one, the one I chose was Chat this years February edition.

This magazine cost 74p thats ok its cheap It is 58 pages. Chat is published weekly.
So did I like this mag? No. It is a woman’s magazine full of trivial gossip, a glossy tabloid magazine. Yes it was easy to read, so easy I read it in 10 minutes.

Articles in this magazine are, True stories, one about a woman and her grandchild who were murdered, another story about a holiday disaster where a son had died in the sea.
There are fashion ideas for your hair about tongs straighteners, hairdryers.
The usual ask the DR column.
A page or two on Majorca holidays, m that put me off.
OOH and the story about a mans massive parsnip!!

Ahhhhh sweet a page of pictures of other peoples kids and their cute sayings.
Some top tips when you go for a walk in the country side …… take a carrier bag to sit on *******

An agony aunt page

There are a few recipies, several crosswords and quizzes.
And of course there are lots of adds.
Glossy pictures of stars and gossip about their lives so for me no ta, I put it down and took my coffee to my classroom to put up a display of my childrens artwork. I brought the mag home to tell you how I found it would return it tomorrow I wonder that bought this trash.
