Closer magazine. I do not buy this magazine but someone at work bought in some old copies and during my lunch break I read one.
Oh dear lots of celebratory gossip
This magazine is divided into 3 sections, celeb news, true life, Style, then there are puzzles, stars and what’s on the TV
Did I really want to read this edition with articles like?
Jordan, I want big fat nanny ohh news, Jude Law has problems with his ex wife and his Fiancé too,
And whom is Tom Cruise dating?
There is a page of photos celebs and their dress mistakes.
An article about Kirstie Allsopp who has swapped her granny skirts and cardies for a sexy look, shes got a big arse and big boobs.
Then there is an article about a celebs wife who is fighting breast cancer Another article by a supermodel who went bald after chemo. I guess these articles are here to reassure us lowly mortals that celebs have and manage their cancers.
There is an article about a weather girl who had hypnotherapy to help her slim for her wedding, there are a couple of articles about holidays, There are puzzles to do and of course lots of adverts for clothes, sun cream.
Basically its a chatty friendly magazine. The articles are easy to read. Not a great deal of content in them,ok if you really want to know who Billie Piper is going out with or what shoes Beyonce is wearing. To be honest it took me no more than 6 minutes to flick through this at lunchtime. I was not really interested in any of the articles. But it gave me an escape route from the staff room chitchat at lunchtime.
I guess its all right for the DRs surgery waiting room, or anyone who is interested in the goings on in celebritaries lifes but no not for me. This magazine is a glossy 98 pages long, cost is £1.00p.
Sorry if I have upset you for slagging off your favourite magazine.
