I should probably start by pointing out that I am an elderly lady and I did not buy this magazine but instead picked it up after my daughter had left it lying around.

The rubbish printed on the pages of Closer magazine makes me wonder why anyone in their right mind would want to read it.

In this day and age when young girls all think they have to be a skinny as possible to have any chance of being noticed by a man, this magazine goes a long way to pushing young girls to anorexia.

The images of stars in it that the magazine claimed were piling on pounds was so laughable but at the same time very worrying because if they were seen to be fat then god knows what that makes normal people.

Along with the pretence that stars are perfect and if not they should be ridiculed comes stories supposed to be sent in by readers and all the usual teenage nonsense.

It is a glossy magazine aimed I think at teenagers and very young women, it has no substance and I would imagine anyone over the age of about twenty could see right through it.

I would not recommend this nonsensical magazine to anyone in fact I would recommend against reading it if you want to keep your sanity!

Summary: A horrible magazine that really should be taken off the shelves.
