Advantages: Covers celeb news and real life, fashion, beauty, problems.....something for everyone.

Out of all the glossy magazines there is a available to buy in the shops Closer has to be my favourite to get my weekly fix of celeb gossip. I do read a few others like Ok and occassionallly Heat but this remains the one I buy without fail every week. It comes out every tuesday and costs what I believe is a reasonable £1.30, less than half the price of what Ok costs.

I am a terrible celeb junkie and love to find out what is happening in the life of my favourite celebs and this is the main reason I buy this. It does however mix celebrities with real life stories and i also enjoy these. The format remains the same week in week out but the content and news is different every week.

The beginning of the magazine has all the latest celebrity news, with people like Jordan, Victoria Beckham, Kerry Katona being regular features. These stories usually cover the first 15 to 20 pages. We then move on to a couple of true life stories for example "We gave away our four kids-now we can party" which can be interesting and shocking.
More celebreties follow and more real life stories. There is also a letters page, Bodytalk (body language expert) and Style watch (the latest hot and not looks).

A small fashion section is next, which is just a few pages, what I consider to be enough, as these sections tend to be just glossy pictures and nothing really worth reading. A couple of beauty advice sections follow and Bodymatters, which is an interesting part of the magazine focusing on exercise and diets. I suppose different people are interested in different things though.

Problem pages with a sex expert and a doctor answering readers questions follow, always a good read. The magazine ends with a puzzles page and a television guide for the upcoming week, saves you money on a t.v. guide.

This magazine really has something for everyone and there are so many different sections which will appeal to huge range of people. I will continue to buy this magazine every week, as to date I have yet to find a better one.
