I am quite fussy when it comes to choosing magazines that I like, but for a long time now Closer has been my absolute favourite. I don't like just reading about real life stories and I also don't like just reading about what the celebrities are up to. I like a mixture of the two plus fashion advice, healthy meal ideas and exercise tips. I also enjoy reading agony aunt advice pages and completing any little quizzes. As closer contains all this and more, it has definitely earned it's place in my life. It is a little pricey compared to some of the women's magazines. Now-a-days it sells for £1.40 most of the time with occasional price reductions so this could be one disadvantage. Closer comes out once a week which is another plus side as you don't have to wait a whole month for your magazine fix. A few famous people also have columns in this magazine telling you what they have been up to in the week and commenting on issues in the news and media.

Overall, I would definitely recommend this magazine as it really does contain something for everyone.
