Company - not for adults! (Company)
Advantages: I imagine teenage girls who have just started to date/go clubbing etc. would love it Disadvantages: Trivial, assumes that it's readers are only interested in clothes and clubbing
I have read Company a few times and have come to the conclusion that it is just not aimed at people like me. I am in my early 20s, but I don't spend my spare time going clubbing, shopping for boob tubes or getting drunk. I think this magazine is aimed at girls in their teens. I just found the whole magazine to be a bit trivial and unintelligent. Of course, I don't want to spend my spare time reading magazines about finance, but I do want a magazine that assumes women are interested in more than booze, clothes and sex. The celebrity interviews seem to be with people who have not actually achieved much in their life and don't have much of interest to say. If I was stuck on a long train journey Company would be quite diverting, but I'd prefer a magazine which is a little more grown up. Summary: |
