Advantages: Great place to look for competitions

Disadvantages: Quite expensive, it's only about 30-40 pages long

CW magazine is a great magazine for compers. Unlike most competition magazines it doesn't actually contain many of it's own competitions, instead it lists current competitions. It is a great resource for compers because it lists magazine comps (which means you don't have to shell out for the magazine!) as well as store and hard-to-find competitions. The comps are arranged in order of closing date and there are full details given about rules of entry/answers/address etc. There are also sections listing NPN comps and ones which are currently in stores and require an entry leaflet. The magazine also contains a letters page and articles about comping.

It is not a particularly thick magazine and I'm sure some people will regard it as being quite expensive at £24.40 for a 12 issue subscription. It is also quite hard to get hold of, some shops stock it, but not many.

It may be expensive, but I think it is a good magazine for those new to comping. It is also a great place to look for interesting competitions.

Summary:
