Advantages: Plenty of comps coverage, good articles

Disadvantages: Not easily available in the shops

Competitors World is about the only decent comping magazine available. What I really like about it is that you're not forced into signing up to a direct debit or credit card mandate; you can pay by cheque for a year and see what it's like. If you are into comping, I would recommend a subscription as it can be a bit elusive in the shops and I have never had any problems receiving my monthly copy through the post.
The magazine does make great efforts to include as many prize draw and competition details as it can and, for people who don't have time to tour the shops for forms, etc, this is a great bonus. The articles are also always worth a read, although the text size is a bit on the small side at times. I've noticed more coverage of Internet comping in recent months and I've found this useful as well.
The magazine is not very thick but, then again, it doesn't have a load of adverts in it, either, and it has some nice additional touches - for example, a swap shop for unwanted prizes, letters pages and discounted postcards and envelopes. I find it really useful every month.
