Advantages: easy to read, good price

Disadvantages: not for geeks

This mag is one of the better ones around for the 99% of us who are not geeks. It targets the less technophile end of the market, but not as simply as the weekly ComputerActive (?) rag.

Its useful for reviews of new PCs, new bits of hardware, and some games and software. It runs articles on the simpler DIY things to do with PCS both hardware and software related.

It also has a remarkably high ratio of content to adverts, especially given its £2.99 cover price. The CD with it is adequate - but you get little more on mags costing £4.99.

Try it, get a subscription if you like it as this is a fraction of the price. A very good middle ground magazine.
