I’d picked up a copy of this magazine for the first time, around a year ago when I was looking to buy a new PC, and I’d never bought a copy again as I must admit I wasn’t very impressed. This Christmas however someone actually bought me a subscription to the magazine as a present and after reading it on a regular basis I’m afraid I’m still pretty unimpressed. Why am I unimpressed? I like to keep up on all the latest industry news and there isn't a harder industry than the computer industry to keep up with. That's why I read Computer Shopper. Computer Shopper is the cheapest computer magazine that can be bought. it costs just 2-99 and I think it offers great value. Theres lots of interesting reviews, news, letters and also laughs in here that will keep you hooked for many an hour. The magazine is very thick and contains a lot of adverts. However this serves it's purpose as it allows you to keep a check on latest prices and also advertising revenue enables them to keep the cost of the magazine at such a good price. ...

Computer Shopper is a monthly magazine, concentrating not only on Windows PC's but also with Linux, Macs and even Amigas and Ataris. To my knowledge it is the only PC mag which can claim this. Every month the magazine comes with at least one CD, although there are often more. They contain a wide selection of software every month, including many full programs, and the magazine often offers cut price upgrades to the latest versions of software found on its cover.
