Think a mouse is a pet ?? Then get 'Computer Active'. (Computeractive)
Advantages: For a computer novice, nothing beats it., Everything explained in plain English., Whatever your computer interest - there is always something for you in every issue. Disadvantages: Not found them yet !!
Computer Active is particularly suited to the computer novice. It explains the minefield of computer jargon in plain English. At just £1.20 an issue it is an absolute bargain. The only downside is that there is so much to read that you don't have time to finish the magazine before the next issue is out! If you have the magazine on subscription, like myself, it works out at £10 for 6 months. Although this may have altered now, so please check. There are a number of sections, news, reviews, letters, workshops, question and answer section and games. A good cross section for everybody of all ages. I also think that the magazine would cater for the well initiated computer enthusiast. Summary: |
