Computeractive is a fortnightly publication that is full of information and help.

It has easy to read tips and notes, about everything all the way through the magazine.

The letters page is also helpful, answering all those little problems we all have.

There are tips about different programs and not just Microsoft but other companies as well, with detailed step by step instructions with illustrations.

The more technical aspects, include how to install different cards or extra memory etc. for those of us who are brave enough. There are also reviews of different products, and they recommend best buys, but not before laying out all the facts in front of you so you can make an informed decision.

Every fortnight they also include a page of recommended websites to visit, the usful and the strange.

Computeractive's news is up to date and very useful, giving details of new products, technical developments etc.

The most useful thing about this magazine apart from the above, is the explanation of some of the computer jargon.
