I used to buy Cosmopolitan few years ago, particularly when I went away for the weekend. It was a good reading on the plane and some how it put me in the right mood for party time at my destination.

I guess that surely all those articles on how to make the best of your life, how to make a man happy in bed, and all those little girly things have a sort of appeal.

Cosmopolitan is still a very succesfull magazine, women, and apparently even men (!!) buy it to find out about the latest tricks you can use in bed, and, I guess, also to keep up with the latest make up.

Most of the revenus for this publication come from the adverts, which make most of its content.

There are full pages of publicity, but also indirect adverts, when for example they "compare" products.

There is a lot of subliminal selling going on, this is for sure!

Summary: Subliminal selling
