Advantages: Lots of different articles
Disadvantages: Too many adverts
Cosmopolitan has everything you would expect in a women's magazine with real life stories, celebrity gossip, fashion and beauty and sex tips.
The magazine is usually quite thick and so it contains a lot more in it then other women's magazines you can buy as usually you have to have a magazine about one thing in particular e.g Heat does celebrity gossip, Take a break is real life stories etc but in this one its all bundled together.
The stories which are contained in the magazine I also very interesting and most are about keeping young women safe whether it be out clubbing on the night, internet dating and even while on holiday, which I think is great as it really promotes it and makes you think about things when you are out and about.
They also offer great tips and advise as they show a wide range of clothes most if not all from the high street and so it is fashion that is accessible to the average women and the same goes with the beauty products in their.
The one negative thing about the magazine though is the amount of adverts in here as almost every other page will be advertising one thing and another. I find that the amount changes from one month to the next but on them months there are more then the average adverts I find myself getting annoyed as at around £3.00 its more expensive then the other magazines.
Overall though it is a good magazine which I feel most women would enjoy reading.
Summary: Good magazine to buy every now and again
