Cosmopolitan, also known to fans as Cosmo, is one of my favourite magazines.

The magazine is aimed at women and has a variety of content. The features of each issue include fashion, health, beauty, celebrities, sex and relationships with others and your self. It also features one or two real life stories, usually supported with advice to avoid getting yourself into similar situations, the issues featured can range from debt to rape.

The magazine has been known to be controversial because it has raised issues and awareness on the increase of sexually transmited infections and diseases, drug rape, stalking and also for printing near nude male celebrity photographs.

I have read Cosmopolitan for a couple of years and although it isn't my favourite womens magazine, it is a close second. I really like the content of the magazine and the features are generally interesting and informative.

The only critism I have is that the advertisements thoughout the magazine seem to have increased in recent months, other than that, it is still a great read.
