Advantages: full of ideas and inspiration, caters to lots of crafters

Disadvantages: only out once a month, quite expensive - £3.99

I often buy a craft magazine for inspiration, and Crafts Beautiful is my favourite as it covers lots of different crafts not just card making or scrap booking like a lot of them. I just wish it came out ore often - it is a monthly magazine and often during the month I find myself buying another magazine but wishing there was a new Crafts Beautiful I could get instead.

The magazine is packed full of step by step projects for all kinds of crafts - card making and other papercrafts, glass painting, painting on ceramics, origami, mosaics, needlecraft and many more. There really is something for everyone! The instructions are always clear and easy to follow, with lots of photographs of the finished items to guide you.

I know a previous reviewer complained about the amount of adverts - but I actually like lookng at the adverts and find them quite useful for finding new / different craft suppliers online. I also like to see what new products they are stocking! Although my wish list does seem to be getting very long!

I like to cut out pictures of things I like and store them in a ringbinder which I can flick through for inspiration - and not necessarily to make the same thing from the original idea! For example, I saw a lovely painted dinner service in one issue earlier this year with rosebuds on, and it inspired me to make a mosaic table covered in rosebuds - I hadnt been able to see how I could make it work but they had simplified the rosebud to paint it and it clicked into place in my head!

Overall, a great magazine, maybe a bit expensive but you do usually get a free gift and you do have to treat yourself now and again!
