Disadvantages: boring full of adverts

Because i live in Cumbria i recieve the West Cumbria Gazette every Thursday through my door. Soetimes you look forward to getting stuff through the post, unfortunately getting the Gazette isn't one of these times.

The paper is generally thin and ful of advertisments for local businesses and limited news, however living in a small town nothing really newsworthy happens to be fair.

As well as the advets for the local businesses when you pick up the paper flyers and leaflets drop out, these are usually advertising companies which have shops in the area such as Tesco and Morrisons showing off what they currently have on promotion.

The back page of the paper always consists of sporting news, normally rugby in the West paper, there's sometimes a bit about speedway and football as well but nothing really worth noting.

In my opinion if you are wanting news about the local area spend 50p and buy the daily newspaper the News and Star or the weekly Times and Star which although they have adverts in there is often local news worth reading about in it as well. And then just pick up your Gazette without reading it and put it in the recycler

Summary: not worth the paper its printed on!
