I arrived in England in March 99 from Australia a dedicated but still novice skier. By around July/August of that year I was itching to get at some European slopes. But which ones, how to get there, and all the other details were unknowns to me. The obvious answer was to try and get the information. After all, when one is spending hundreds of pounds on a skiing holiday, you want to try and get it reasonably right. So I went looking for some magazines.
