Advantages: A lot of reading for the money
Disadvantages: None
The Daily Mail is my kind of newspaper. There are some who rubbish it for its right wing views, but I'm no political animal so that means little to me.
For the princely sum of 50 pence there is a good amount of interesting reading .
I always seem to head for the columnists pages.Tom Uttley`s column is a must read for me,his dry wit is second to none.
Amanda Platell,a little too sharp for my liking.
Richard Littlejohn makes decent reading too.
The centre of the newspaper often has a supplement,Health,Money,Femail fashion, all of these make good reading.
There is a good readers letters page, anyone can feel free to share their feelings on practically any subject.
The coffee break pages give a fabulous selection of Sudoku, crosswords, mind benders and word wheels to test the grey matter.
Often they have photographs that are spectacular, wildlife and countryside, all shown at its best.
Much advice is offered about the latest books and Richard and Judy are on hand to offer advice on their pick of the week.
Gardening tips abound,Monty Don and Chris Packham tell you what you should be doing in your own garden.
The Daily Mail have some good offers on garden bulbs and plants for readers too.
Promotions are run, offering little `freebies` to all Mail readers.
A Comprehensive television guide appears every day, offering a Critics choice,a programme or two that has been especially recommended for watching.
The Sports pages cover the daily racing and football, plus any other sporting event that is going on at the time.
So to sum up ,The Daily Mail is a very good 50p`s worth of reading.
Summary: A good value daily newspaper
