Advantages: good price, useful information, good quality photos
Disadvantages: Can't think of any
This magazine is the perfect balance for amateur photographers and those a little more experienced. It costs £3.99 for 164 pages which I think is a good price for what you get. The pages are glossy and the whole magazine feels light. The magazine has a wide variety of content that changes monthly, but still keeping the same general layout. There's a whole section there to offer advice to readers, interviews with pro photographers and the very helpful photo DIY section which really gives you some brilliant ideas for your pictures. There is also a readers showcase where the magazine shows pictures that people have sent in which is very interesting as they explain their ideas behind their images.
There are quite a few adverts in it, but with the amount of good content you get in the magazine, this kind of balances out. Overall this is definitely a worthwhile magazine for photographers, especially if your somewhere in the middle of a beginner and pro. At the moment they have got a deal on where you can subscribe for 5 issues for just £5, I was thinking about doing this myself as each month the magazine never fails to disappoint and always has something interesting to read about, or helpful tips to try at home. Everything I want from a photography magazine.
Summary: Very helpful and affordable magazine!
