Doctor Who is a popular show which has been on the BBC for just short of 50 years. It is the story of a TimeLord, called the Doctor, who travels through time and space in a large blue box called the Tardis. Along with him to help him fight off the aliens and creatures threatening the planets, he often has a female companion (oh how I would love to be that companion!).

BBC have created a magazine, aimed at younger kids, called Doctor Who Adventures. There are many issues in the collection, one of which is #5.

First of all, free with this magazine you get a Tardis Log Book. Though, since it was released in May 2006, I had to buy my magazine on eBay and did not get the free book! When you open up the first page, there is ot actually a contents page, but just a short introduction from the 'Doctor Who Team'. After reading through the magazine, I discovered its many wonders.

There are three large posters with this issue; Cyberleader (Age Of Steel), Sycorax (Christmas Invasion) and Daleks (various). These are really quite stunning and would look great on any wall!There is a double page for a character profile, and this issue it happens to be Mickey (Noel Clark). Its quite interesting to read and helps you relate to the character.

You wil find, next to the cartoon strip, a page of artwork by fans. This issue it has been dedicated to the slitheen pictures. Some of them are fantastic! Following this, there is a fact sheet about one of my favourite episodes, 'Girl In The Fireplace'. On reading that, I found out some quite interestig facts I was not aware of beforehand!

There are some games and quizzes in this issue too, suh as the Jackie Tyler spot the difference! There is also two factfile sheets; Tales of the Tardis (information about the Doctors adventures) and a sheet all about the Werewolf (Tooth and Claw).

This is an amazing magazine, now priced at £2.10, and is well worh the buy for any 'Who fan! As soon as you open, you are taken on a whirlwind adventure with the Doctor (David Tennant)!
