Advantages: Up to the minute fashion, excellent photography

Disadvantages: Never gets very in depth and tends to cover more superficial subjects

I'm a regular subscriber and I really enjoy getting Elle each month.

It is definitely a fashion magazine and regularly has beautiful fashion spreads and plenty of articles on new looks and styles out there as well as all the shopping information you could ever need!

It does have a wide range of designer labels and high street featured (although mostly the high end of the high street).

I really enjoy the articles, there is generally a big spread on a woman in the media spotlight and then other articles on health, beauty, living etc.

I enjoy the different opinion pieces and it sometimes covers more controversial topics. There is generally something on the latest fads and it does review these honestly.

The back page is the home of the column 'Mademoiselle - Confessions of an Elle Girl' and I find this witty and entertaining and a fun read.

I think this is one of the best fashion magazines out there. Not so slavish about 'society' types as other magazines and has a lot of interesting articles throughout on all sorts of topics.

As a subscriber I get different covers to the news-stand which has no text, just the name Elle at the top. There are also special offers such as film previews - sadly so far I've not made any of them!

Summary: Excellent fashion magazine, well worth the subscribtion!
