Advantages: Glossy photos, quite a thick read (in more senses than one)

Disadvantages: Fashion, fashion and more fashion. All very well but where's the gripping reading matter. Too many adverts and not worth the money.

This magazine has potential. I realise that it is a 'fashion magazine' but it is a disappointment for the reason that pages and pages and reams and reams about 'this season's colours' or 'the new trends' get rather tedious after the first few galnces. I suppose (or the implication is) that this is a magazine for the well-endowed; the richer slice of society who actuallly find all this designer label information useful because they are able to dip into their pockets to afford Helmut Lang, Versace, Chloe blah blah blah. Sorry, but my budget does not stretch that far. And neither does my taste extend to some of the more bizarre 'fashions' featured. Please, I would be the laughing stock of all I know if I wore some of the suggested 'must-haves'. I like fashio, don't get me wrong, but I'm afraid I require it to transcend into the harsh reality of everyday living. This magazin needs to wake up and include features that we actually want to read. This is not inspirational reading; it just leaves you feeling inadequate and broke (even more so after shelling out for it's steep cover price). One to avoid, in my humble opinion.
