Over the years I have read a number of car magazines like Autocar, Top Gear, etc. None have been anywhere near as good as Evo. Evo is a magazine about cars that are nice to drive, cars that are full of evoness as they would say. Every month I eagerly await my copy to fall on the doormat to see what delights will lurk within the latest offering. I am never disappointed. I can't afford any of the cars in this magazine (I'm a student with no income), but some of the articles are so well written that I can imagine what it is like to drive some of them. From time to time there is an article that describes how a car feels, or how it sounds and I can feel what they are talking about.
Each month they review new cars, have a comprehensive second hand buying guide for a featured car, and have feature articles that often pit certain groups of cars against each other. They also have a number of vehicles on long term test so you get monthly reports on what it is like living with various cars. I really do rate this magazine as one of the best ever.
This is not a car magazine for people who are concerned with practicality and "sensible" cars that you use to get from A to B. Also, it is not a magazine for people who want to take a Ford Escort, strap a body kit to it and put a big "Turbo" sticker on the back. There are other magazines for that sort of thing. This magazine is about the "thrill of driving". It focuses on the performance cars that are actually produced.

If you like cars then this magazine is the only car magazine you need to buy. It's also the only car magazine that will really satisfy someone who likes cars. Accept no imitations, read Evo.
