I am pregnant with our third baby, and bought this magazine recently for the first time. The cover looked great, promising 20 real life stories, 33 products on test, a guide to weight gain in pregnancy and expert help to give birth. Sounds good - but the inside was disappointing. I'm sure if they say there are 20 real life stories then there are, but I couldn't find them. There are 3 telling about their pregnancies so far, then someone about birth, the way it was sold on the front cover I was expecting 20 stories all in the one section - it said "this baby'll change our lives 20 real life stories". Well it wasn't set out like that at all and that felt like a let down to me.

Also the 33 reader tested products. Most magazines I've read don't put the number of products, and I can see why now because it's misleading. I was expecting 33 different types of product, but actually there were travel systems, maternity bras, breast pumps (only 2 tested), breast pads (again only 2), breast shells (only 1 type tested!), organic baby food and washing powders and conditioners. I felt the product tests were very lacking. There was little comparison between the products with different testers for each, and for some products they only tested one or two brands, so that hardly gives you a guide to what is best on the market!

I found it was a nice enough magazine for a light read, but not worth the £2.30 cover price for me. Disappointing.
