Disadvantages: one of the most pricey baby mags

I bought all the pregnancy & birth magazines while pregnant and this is a good one. It's highly informative and interesting, the pages are well laid out and it's jam packed with useful tips and interesting articles. You will learn most of what you need to know about pregnancy & birth from this magazine, it's extremely reassuring to have all the information well laid out like this. It has many real-life stories and this months issue (October 2000) includes Melinda Messanger's birth story - it has all the celebrity glamour too! It has a good 40 week short guide to what's happening to you and your baby which is really useful to refer to. I thoroughly enjoyed following a guide to what was happening each week while I was pregnant. It was really interesting to know roughly how big my baby was etc. There are also real life birth stories in photos, tips on how you can make labour easier, product testing etc. This magazine is well worth a read especially for first-time mums. It also comes with freebies making it better value for money - although this month you have to send off for it!
