~ Introduction ~ One of the main reasons for purchasing this magazine was because of a cheap subscription method that would get it delivered to my door, rather than having to buy each months issue at the newsagents. I first became aware of this magazine after seeing a friend’s copy around three years ago, I had a quick read and it became an instant hit. So how did I get it cheaper? I hear you say! Well, it was simply a visit to www.fhm.com - the offer at the time of subscribing, was 12 issues for £31, instead of the £37.20 if I purchased monthly from the newsagents, and this works out to be a 16% saving. I have just had a quick look at their ... Read the complete review

Glossy soft porn, boy’s toys, gore and female secrets and sex tips. That's the quick summary of FHM, a fairly typical monthly men's magazine found in the newsagents, if you have not read this magazine then read on for a short breakdown of the average type of content in a typical month. Sex ŻŻŻ The mag is a little like a soft porn mag, with pictures of famous stars abounding, but it really is soft, most of the girls are wearing more clothes than many girls do on the beach on a warm day. Its worth buying if a starlet you fancy is featured (Kensplace is still drooling over Alyson Hannigan who plays Willow in Buffy ... Read the complete review

FMH is the magazine for men (as the name itself tells you with the letters meaning For Him Magazine) with the offerings aimed simply for the young men around town. The magazine itself is out monthly and offers up a great deal of well thought out and put together articles that are interesting and a great read for your journey to and from work. The magazine is normally priced around the £3.50 range but the most recent offering was £2.50 which is excellent value for money with the quality of read on offer but if you are looking for even better value then take a look at their website to get a subscription to make yourself an even bigger saving with the magazine ... Time to clear something up with you females reading this review here. FHM, on the outside, COULD be mistaken for a 'Top Shelf' magazine. It isnt. Thats simply a reputation that this magazine has garnered for no explainable reason. The cover may show an attractive woman on the front, not leaving much to the imagination. But, this is a Mens Magazine. It used to have men on the front, but then it was thought that men might actually like to know about Celebrity women and their lifestyles and more. But, again, that isnt all this magazine is about. It contains sections about mens health, which have included in the past the correct ways to check ... Read the complete review

I would definitely consider FHM as soft porn, on their website and in their magazines. The graphical imagery of females is very tasteful. I don't tend to buy the magazines but have had a read of my friends FHM magazines in the past and it becomes obvious that its not all about nude models as they have real life stories and celebrities talking about their lives etc, which can be an interesting read. I have become a little against magazines lately though as I feel that we are fed an image of the perfect women/man and we want to be like this, even though there is probably much enhancement with touch-ups and plastic surgery (e.g. boob jobs) to obtain ...
