Time to clear something up with you females reading this review here.

FHM, on the outside, COULD be mistaken for a 'Top Shelf' magazine. It isnt. Thats simply a reputation that this magazine has garnered for no explainable reason.

The cover may show an attractive woman on the front, not leaving much to the imagination. But, this is a Mens Magazine. It used to have men on the front, but then it was thought that men might actually like to know about Celebrity women and their lifestyles and more. But, again, that isnt all this magazine is about.

It contains sections about mens health, which have included in the past the correct ways to check a males prostate for Cancer, as well as details on other diseases, which can include Sexually Trasmitted Diseases, Cancer and Strokes, yet many still look down on this magazine as being 'trashy' and as belonging on the Top Shelf.

I couldnt disagree more. I was once a subscriber of FHM, and learned a lot from the magazine itself, and also had the chance to see other peoples views on what matters to a Bloke, like the current fashion, as well as aftershave, Films, Music, Technology and even the best jokes of the month.

Back then, it was at the £2.50/£3 Mark, and I havent bought it since, given the Girlfriend wouldnt allow it.

The only alternative to this magazine is Maxim, which is a little more focal on the Female of the Species, but still has the relative information a bloke will require to get through life.

At the end of the day, if your in a relationship, you should really ask if your Girlfriend, Wife or partner is okay with you reading this magazine, given the slightly sexual nature of the photos contained. If not, then you dont have to. Either way, FHM is definitely something every Guy could do with, given its up-to-the-month news and tips on enhancing your life. Sadly, many women are against the idea of that.

Maybe its a conspiracy for women to kill off the Male sex. Hehe.
