With the fact that this magazine is generally filled with pictures of scantily clad gorgeous women from around the world often massive celebrities as proved by the picture dooyoo have provided of Mariah Carey posing on the front cover of the magazine. It has been very much deemed without hesitation from the general public that this magazine is a porn magazine with the ranks of nuts, zoo and others. Banished to the top shelves of newsagents and considered taboo to read them in public.

Now I won't disagree that this doesn't treat women in the same way that some of the other aforementioned magazines but it does this as the same way the general public sees on adverts of TV everyday and all over the web just to name a few places. This magazine has certainly never posted photos of anything worse that children can easily access simply by turning on the TV. And at least this magazine offers an interview with the models in the photos, going a small way to proving that these girls are still human too.

In my opinion FHM provides a guide to the way a modern man should live his life, spattered with sections on fashion, reviews on new media, eating healthily, working out, and attracting woman our all features that are regulars in this magazine. Along with these come fantastic jokes, stories and do it yourself guides which I find fantastic and 99% of the time really more interesting than the sections of some of the girl's pictures, however these are always an added bonus that I am certainly not complaining about.

I love this magazine and honestly wish that it was just a little less taboo. And wish people would reconsider there first impressions on it.
