Women's magazines ... their cover in itself usually says it all: image of an unaturally grinning beauty who's been air-brushed for hours to achieve the 'See how happy, healthy & gorgeous I am' look (talk about rubbing our noses in it!), and snappy titles that are enough to make you reach for the sickness bag 'Kama sutra your lover into oblivion, 365 sexy things to keep him begging for more'...etc, etc!

This left me rather disillusioned about magazines on the whole. But was this about to change, oh boy!
Sitting in the Surgery's waiting room, as you do, I picked up the only mag there... you've guessed it: FHM!

I had expected something filled with, lets say it, soft porn and laddish jokes and instead found a wealth of interesting articles, fashion pages and interviews. And although you don't quite escape the 'gorgeous girl wearing lots of nothing', pictures are done with style, if not artistic flair!

I highly recommend this mag' to anyone looking for a good range of informative articles, well conducted interviews and not so serious pieces too!

Go on garls... get that copy off your bloke!
