Advantages: Tons of stuff, Read for hours (on train) or five minutes (on toilet)

Disadvantages: Reviews of products are not very reliable

FHM is the number one Men's magazine in the United Kingdom. It has managed t elevate itself to this position by not resorting to being glorified soft pornography like loaded or a bit trashy like Maxim. Also Unlike many mens magazines it is not guilty of putting a picture greatly better than those in the magazine, on the cover (well at least most of the time).

It currently numbers 260+ pages per month for £3 (August - 274 pages, September - 314 pages)
and this to me seems to be pretty good value despite the high incidence of adverts.

It covers everything from famous attractive women (obviously) to The latest Film, DVD, Video and Music releases as well as Fashion. Basically it covers all the things that a young man is interested in.

Letters to the editor - All sorts of strange comments, letter of the month won a £300 palm top.

Ladies confessions - incognito confessions from women proving that all those disapproving opinions they have of men are hypocrisy

Jokes - Great gags to tell your mates in the pub

Feature on the girl from the cover of the sexiest women in the world 2001, pics and interview

Reporter - All sorts of obscure weird stuff that will only interest men and some cool competitions as well as the winner of FHM' student of the year, a competition for most attractive female student running since Oct 2000.

Reviews - Films, Music, Games, Books and Tv. Ciao for FHM readers

General - Careers, Girl Talk (what she really means and how to speak it), Saving money etc..

All in all good value and a great train read. Classy enough that it doesen't resort just to partially clad women to entertain. You really *can* read the articles for fun.

Great, plus all the women I know love it too so don't bank on being the first to read it..
