Advantages: Better than Loaded, Maxim and Sky.

Disadvantages: Fashion section is to 'outta there'

When I was a student I coiuldnt afford to go out much so I stayed in and as a result got very bored. So what little money I did have I spread around the various magazines that were on offer. I used to get Loaded, Maxim, Sky and of course FHM. There was always a seperation with Loaded and FHM being better reads than Sky and Maxim but Loaded tried to be more than it could handle. Loaded almost tried to be a porn mag with all the articles about the porn industry and sex toys. Correct me if Im wrong but if I want a porn mag Ill buy a half decent porn mag not some lame wannabe. This left FHM with practically all of my (and my housemates) attention. The articles are extremely humerous and its always a race to the true stories. They show plenty of scantily clad babes but, dare I say it, in an almost artistic light. The bar room jokes arnt the usual collection straight out of Tommy Boyds latest book but with a few swear words thrown in, there actually original (well I havnt heard them before) and most of all funny. The fashion section can be good but it usually shows stuff that no 'normal' person would shell out the cash for, I mean £300 for a pair of trousers, as if!

Of all the 'mens mags' out there FHM is clearly the best for reading, looking at, drooling over and all round entertainment and value for money. Also if you cant be arsed sheling out the couple of quid to buy it you can read it on the web at http://www.fhm.co.uk
