Red Issue:
... would definately consider Red Issue as the major Manchester United regular fanzine. It is often reffered to as "The voice of the fans." I personally purchase nearly ever Red Issue installment. It is mainly available outside the Old Trafford on match days, via street tellers and stalls- and can be purchased at a discount with the matchday program, however if you cannot get to the game there are certain ne... When Saturday Comes ... by a Chester fan. Five years ago my club was in a similar position and they devoted three paragraphs to a two year struggle. The Clubs in Crisis has all but disappeared which is a shame because it used to be one of the few forums for the dispossessed. In truth its original remit has been taken up by the rise of the blog and in particular the excellent Football Management and 200% blogs. They are instant, prepared to speak out, and, importantly, place greater importance on the reader than their advertisers, of which they have none. There is probably still a market out there for a counter culture football magazine, lets hope someone has the drive to start one up.... Match of the Day Magazine ... of the Day Magzine is a highly popular football magazine similar to Match. It comes out once a week, every Tuesday and the picture suggested by Dooyoo looks nothing like the actual product. The layout of the magazine in my opinion is brilliant. They have lots of colourful pictures to go along with articles and a clear contents page at the beginning of the magazine. Every week they post all the results of last weeks matches. They also have a page dedicated to lower league football and another one with the big news about foreign countries footballing leagues. They also have a predict the score double page where all the next weeks games are listed as well as where an... Read the full review: MOTD - Magazine od the Day by hornetz |

Four Four Two ... An entertaining look at the more light-hearted sides of football, including funny quotes and guest columnists like Gordan Strachan. "Reviews" Reviews of the latest books, games and movies. Okay but a bit short. Various football interviews, articles and stories make up the rest of the magazine and it is finished by Planet Football, which has information about all the British Leagues and little snippets about other footballing stories around the world. The one gripe I have about Four Four Two is the amount of advertising in it. I know they probably need the money to survive but in an average issue roughly two-thirds is advertising, which I personally find ...
