Although, slightly Europeanised, this is a readable American business magazine. If you are interested in American and other international big business, especially Wall Street and the NASDAQ stock exchanges, this Magazine is excellent. If you are not, then this is still surprisingly readable and explains American and international financial topics well. For instance, one writer described the anti-trust case brought against Microsoft with a scenario based on The Flintstones. Fortune even has some humorous comment, lifestyle (for the wealthy) items and other non-finance articles as well. Fortune is a must buy for those interested in US or Global Investment and of course for those who already have a fortune. Pages: over 90 Cover price: (UK) £2.95
If anyone that is interested in Finance and Business of the e-commerce, Internet, software houses, and hardware companies, I recommed "Fortune". It is not only discussing about the finance, but also the technologies involved. In addition, it tells us what is the story behind a successful of an Internet companies or a software house and so on. If you are worried about the English level will be too high for you to cope with (just like most of them magazinese do), then you will be wrong. The English is easy to understand but not blur. This is one of the main reasons that I like to read this magazine. In fact as a software engineer I don't want to be left behind of what happen in the computer or electronic world.
