Front: Way in FrOnt of the rest (140 words)
by - written on 22/10/01
Rating:

I'm not really a mag reader but you have to love FrOnt. Only problem being is the woman serving usually mistakes it for a "jazz" mag and puts it in a brown packet for you. O well. FrOnt is full of everything a lads mag should be. Gadgets, gangsters and thruppney-bits. FrOnt is hillarious. Every page has you creased up ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Front brings it on... (197 words)
by - written on 21/05/01 (Somewhat useful, 381 readings)
Rating:

Front magazine is a relatively new publication in the men?s lifestyle market in the U.K., and is growing rapidly. Comparable in growth and content terms to Loaded magazine, Front offers all of the standard content of a men?s magazine, but takes a slightly different view of things. Where FHM offer journalistic maturity, and Loaded offer ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review TIT- ELATION !! (955 words)
by - written on 17/05/01 (Very useful, 231 readings)
Rating:

The Ultimate in ‘Lads Mags’ - FRONT most certainly caters for a generation brought up on a literary diet of ‘The Sun’. It is a glossy magazine in more ways than one., Firstly, Ladies, please excuse me for a highly sexist review of this Magazine – after all it is for the Lads. FRONT is brimful with ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Got Front? Get it! (355 words)
by - written on 27/03/01 (Useful, 269 readings)
Rating:

Front is the best magazine around, according to yours truly. Classifying it as a men's mag would be cruel to FHM, as it is really a lads mag. Grown men though may still get a kick out of the 'Mate in a State' section, though I'm sure they would prefer the health products section in FHM. This is no disrespect to grown men, ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Whats Wrong With Front? (207 words)
by - written on 21/01/01 (Useful, 96 readings)
Rating:

I have read this magazine since the very first issue and I think it has changed a lot. OK it used to cost £2 but now it costs £2.70, but this is still 30p less than the other top mens mags (FHM, Loaded etc). This magazine is far less serious than some of the others, it carries stories and articles that while being maybe too close to the ...  Read the complete review

Why Front? (332 words)
by - written on 17/01/01
Rating:

The Men?s Lifestyle is one of the most lucrative sectors in the magazine industry. It is also now one of the most competitive as well with new titles appearing all the time. The Main players are probably ?FHM?, ?Loaded?, ?Maxim? and ?Sky? and are well established. Front is a relative newcomer, having been on the market for just over two ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Front: Junior Loaded (129 words)
by - written on 23/10/00 (9 readings)
Rating:

There is a high nipple count, a shameless worshipping of top London gangsters like Dave Courtney, and lots of adverts. That's it, kids. From the start Front looked like it was being aimed at lads younger than the average Loaded reader, and deliberately set out to cater to a completely zonked audience. Front probably gets the majority of its ...  Read the complete review

Some people may take affront! (119 words)
by - written on 23/08/00
Rating:

Front was when launched more Loaded than Loaded and racier than anything below the topshelf. Of course, this rapidly got the mag into trouble. An additional plus was its cover price, it was and still is cheaper than most Mens mags. But since having to tone down, it has become YAMM (Yet Another Mens Mag). At the end of the day they all run similar ...  Read the complete review

Front: Poor (149 words)
by - written on 18/08/00
Rating:

What a poor men magazine, althrough I have never bought this magazine myself, my friend bought it the other week, saying it was better than FHm and loaded put together. When I actually read it I thought what a load of rubbish. This magazine has no content, it is basically topless women from front to back. Now not that I disapprove of such ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Give it a break! (131 words)
by - written on 03/08/00 (Very useful, 32 readings)
Rating:

I gave up reading FHM and Loaded ages ago due to their apparent infactuation with filling up the magazines with adverts on more pages than articles, therefore making them look bulkier and good value for money. Whilst I am in favour of FHM's absolutely gorgeous array of celebrities and unknown women, it falls short on interesting articles. ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Front: Getting Worse (170 words)
by - written on 26/06/00 (Useful, 20 readings)
Rating:

As with many things Front started out with a flourish and was a good Magazine. It was cheap (£2) and slightly smaller than most mens mags. now it has gone right off and I am back on the tried and trusted Loaded. Front is edited by an ex Loaded employee (hence the resemblance) but it falls short in many ways. The articles in front ...  Read the complete review

i bought this at charle de gaulle airport last year as i needed something to read on the plane home. i wish i hadnt bothered. it makes loaded look like the godfather and takes less time to read than the daily star. written by idiots for idiots ( a quick glance at the letters page will tell you all you need to know) front is trying desperately ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Front: OK, I admit I read it.... (131 words)
by - written on 17/06/00 (Very useful, 35 readings)
Rating:

Front is a newish magazine that fills that niche between FHM and Loaded. Its perhaps aimed at a slightly younger audience than FHM, but judging by its popularity round the office, I would say its ageless! I've tried reading Loaded, but for some reason, the stories/features just seem a bit too bland. Obviously, being Mens Magazines, there ...  Read the complete review
