I'm an irregular reader of Games Master - I don't subscribe to the magazine, I probably buy 3 or 4 copies per year for reading whilst on holiday or away from home.

I'm in my mid twenties and part of me felt quite childish when I first bought this magazine - the design doesn't really appeal to the older generations, but after reading the mag I must admit I'm pretty impressed.

Rather than focusing on one platform, Games Master delivers news and reviews of all the next generation consoles which is prefect for people who have more than one (ie, a Wii and an Xbox 360).

The magazine is written in a light-hearted way which makes it a joy to read and sometimes difficult to put down. The game reviews are written honestly and with a simple scoring system that tells you exactly what to expect from a game.

There's a letters section which unfortunately seems to be dominated by 14 year old kids - I generally avoid that area! There is also a cheats section at the back of the magazine that also includes game walkthroughs... I've never really understood cheating in a game, but hey some people do!

All-in-all, it's a great mag to keep up with the latest gaming releases. Highly recommended.
