Don't you think it's about time we as a nation stop prying into other people's lives?

We live in the era of voyeur television (i.e. Big Brother) and voyeur lifestyle. You've got to admit it, you'll claim to have no interest in Posh and Becks, but I bet you read about her slagging off that girl from Eastenders yesterday didn't you?

We don't seem to realise how damaging we can make people's lives. I know it's the media who perpetrate such rubbish, but by buying newspapers and magazines such as Heat and Hello! we contribute to this. Entertainment is fine, but look how far it can go: wasn't this supposed to have been curbed after the death of Diana.

Gordon Brown deserves privacy. To have the face of his wife and himself plastered on the front pages after they have just lost their 10 day old daughter is beyond sickening.

We call for standards but are the first to turn our backs on them as we single ourselves out as hypocrites.
Still, Brooklyn looks lovely with his new haircut, doesn't he?
