this magazine is excellent for girls between 6 and 12, My daughter has been having this for two years now. The content and layout are extremely eye catching and the pets posters in the middle are hard not to paste up on the walls. They have regular competitions and the chances of having your daughter chosen as a winner, or for something she has had written, are high. My daughter has won numerous competitions with this magazine, plus had her photo and profile put in. I started buying the magazine for my 7 year old daughter who sometimes things she is 16. The magazine has stories relating to childhood problems such as bullying and parent seperation etc, these are done in photo style stories. There are also pop quizes and a fashion page with all the latest styles and fashion. On most issues there are free gifts ranging from bangles to nail stickers, which are a great hit with her. This is just the sort of magazine we were looking for - a girls' magazine, which was old enough for my daughter to be interested in, but not too old, so it includes articles on how to kiss boys or worse !! My daughter started getting Girl Talk when she was eight or so. She is now ten and it is still her favourite magazine. It includes regular comic strips based on popular TV programmes like Sweet Valley High and pop groups like the Spice Girls.
