SMALL MAG GREAT FOR YOUR BAG!! Glamour Magazine (Glamour)

Advantages: Small enough for your bag and great freebies

Disadvantages: If weekly then expensive, Too many advertisments!!!

I must be honest from the start, as I don't buy this magazine on a monthly basis. ( I subscribe to Easy Living and find that hard enough to try and get the time to read that one since becoming a dooyoo'er).

I usually get this mag when there is a freebie with it and what great free gifts they give away. I have had a mini Bad Gal Lash Mascara ( I wish they would give the waterproof one away, as this is the one I use!!), a 10ml nails inc. nail varnish in a lovely deep red colour ( I think there was 3 to choose from) and this month ( August) they are giving away " He's just not that into you " paperback book ( this was made into a film a few months back ).

This little magazine (it is handbag size ) is £2 to buy and it covers all topics to do with Fashion, Make-up, Hair, Men, Celebs Next Seasons Looks ect....
It is a very glossy magazine, but my one complaint about it would be the number of advertisments there are in it, nearly every other page!!!!

When opening it there is a section called :

On the Cover
This gives you what pages the cover articles are on, on this particular one there are 10 different items.

Features and Entertainment
This has 5 different features about news, views music and films.

Fashion and Beauty
6 different features from the newest season looks to holiday make-up ideas.

Living Glamour
Only one feature in this section and this is a couple of cooking recipes.

YouYouYou
Under this heading is 4 different features being Men, Sex and Love, Healthy bodyand competitions.

In every issue you will find: Editors letters, Glamour mailbag Horoscopes, Stockists, Do's and Don'ts and how to subscribe to Glamour magazine.

It does have a lot of little bits of information in it and the stories and topics are really interesting to read, but again there are for to many advertisments
in it for me to enjoy reading it. I will only buy this mag while there is a freebie with it I'm afraid.

One more thing I'm slightly confused, because I always thought of this mag as a monthly. On the front cover it says Glossy mag only £2 weekly price, but
it says AUGUST 2009 and on looking inside the next issue is on the 6th August. So I don't know if it was monthly and has gone weekly or if it is still monthly ????
